100 List Challenge: Horror

The Crying Traveler
Kal and Elly heard from a distance loud frantic chicken noises made inside their chicken coop in the middle of the night.

"What's that, Mommy?"

"Could be a predator, Ellokh," Kal replied. He had long since gotten used to Elly calling him 'Mommy' even though he knew he wasn't. "We'll have to check it out."

Arming themselves with whatever they could use as a weapon, they made their way slowly to the coop. As Kal flashed the lantern, they can see a silhouette that was squatting in the middle of the coop, munching and gnawing ferociously, while the surviving chickens struggle to try and get away from the figure.

"Hey, you! What do you think you're doing?"

The figure turned around. Tears streamed down on his face and blood was all over his naked body. On his face showed an emotion that clearly was a sign of disgust in what he's doing, but he couldn't stop himself.

"Ki...Kiba?! What...What are you doing...?! What is this..."

"Ellokh, go get your father, Kita-san and Kyo-san," Kal said as he held Elly back.

"What? But, Mommy, Kiba..."

"Just do it."

Elly reluctantly left, all the while not wanting to part his gaze from him. As soon as Elly left, Kal approached Kiba slowly.

"It's OK. It's OK, Kiba-chan. Just keep eating. Hadurakh, Kita-san and your father will be here."

"I'm...I'm just so...so hungry..." Kiba said with his mouth full and tearfully chomped at the chicken he was holding.

"It's alright. It's not your fault."

"What's wrong with me...? Am I turning into a monster or something..."

"No, Kiba-chan. You're just pregnant."

Love of the Damned
Faira huddled against Thilius, cringing everytime something spooky comes out. He was especially frightened when the scene where the little girl walked on all fours upside down the stairs.

"Thili," Fai whined. "When I said to look for a good movie to test out our new plasma flat-screen TV, I didn't mean this one!"

"Hey, this is the best movie of all times!" Thili grinned. "It's based on a real life possession, and I knew that guy who possessed the kid. He did a great job! Besides, you like religious movies. This doesn't get any religious than this."

Fai whimpered as another scary scene burst into the screen.

In this scene of Nakh-Kal, Kiba is pregnant with Elly's child, and it was way before their wedding due date. Looks like they have to speed up the wedding process.

Kal still has amnesia, but he was used to letting Elly calling him 'Mommy' and Nakh calling him 'cherry' because deep down in his subconscious mind, he felt this sort of name was affectionate, like they had a connection somehow.

Since Kal claims to be Melly's mother, naturally he should a thing or two about giant pregnancies. One of them would be uncontrollable hunger. A person pregnant with a giant's child (even in regular giant clans) would first have the morning sickness, but it wouldn't last that long, probably 3 days or so, so it's often forgotten as a stomach bug. But then comes the hunger in which the pregnant mom cannot control the urge to eat and would stuff anything edible into their mouths, even live animals.

During that period, they must hold them down and hurry up with preparing a storeroom of food before the pregnant mom starts biting the hand that holds them, then put them in the room and lock it, keeping them there and continue refilling it through a trap door so that they don't escape. They will eat nonstop until towards the second month of their pregnancy in which they will calm down so much, they look melancholic before slowly reverting to their old self and go through the rest of the pregnancy symptoms like swollen feet, mood swings, etc
