100 List Challenge: Relaxation

The Crying Traveler
Everyone lay on the grass, enjoying the nice warm spring sun.

Melly lay asleep with the twins and their son and daughter Fedora and Delora. Elly and Kiba are playing with their son Jarokh aka Jerry and Kita and Rai played with their daughter Sakura, while Nakh and Kal were in each other's arm and have their twins Marukha and Marakha between them.

"Feels so peaceful, isn't it?" Kal asked, looking up at the sunny sky.

"Yes, Kal my cherry. All is well."

Nothing felt better than this.

Thilius sipped on the sake and enjoyed the wind blowing at their faces. Faira lay against Thilius, content to just being in his presence.

"Ah, this is the life," Thilius muttered. "Getting the day off to enjoy the Japanese onsen, Damien looked after by Sister Terra, you with me. What could possibly be any better?"

"Does asking for your 'undivided attention' ring a bell?" Faira asked naughtily as he traced a finger suggestively on Thilius' thigh, blushing in a sheepish manner.

Thilius grinned at Faira's boldness.

"Well, I wouldn't want to waste something that's offered to me on a silver platter," Thilius, without warning, tackled Faira onto the wooden floor.

"W...Wait...! Here...?" Faira was nervous.

"So what? It's our private chalet. I doubt anyone's watching.

So saying, he nibbled at Faira's weak spot on the earlobe, making the angel moan and threw all logic out of the window.

Yes, what could possibly be any better?

A/N:

In Nakh-Kal's scene, Kal has finally come clean with everyone and Nakh forgave Kal for having the deal with the Death Lord. In fact, he allowed Kal to visit the Death Lord's twins every once a month for a week and had become a second father to the twins. Melly didn't have to pretend anymore and everything was back to normal as it used to be. Nakh and Kal rekindled their relationship and soon, Marukha and Marakha became another addition into the Hadurakh family.

100 List Challenge: Solitude

The Crying Traveler
Daddy left me alone again.

The men left me alone again.

I hate it when he leaves me alone.

Thank the gods they leave me alone.

I feel so lonely when he does that.

I feel so secure when they do that.

Why does he always do that?

Why can't they always do that?

...I miss Mom...

Love of the Damned
Faira sat on the clouds, looking up at the full moon.

It had been weeks since he last saw Thilius.

He had told himself time and time again that he would not succumb into Thilius' unholy seduction, but in the end, he always balked.

Now that Thilius was probably bored of him and no longer see him, he felt lonely.

This was the first time Faira had ever felt like this towards a condemned.

And it hurts.

100 List Challenge: Puzzle

The Crying Traveler
"Hey guys, look up ahead!"

Everyone turned to Melly's call. In front of them there was a huge rock that had a rather odd-looking engraving or pattern on it.

"It looks like a puzzle," Kiba said. "The picture is all mixed up, like we're supposed to rearrange it in order."

"What do you suppose it might lead to?" Elly asked.

"We'll just have to find out, won't we?" Kito and Raito grinned as they jumped off Melly's shoulders and made their way towards the puzzle, eager to find out what's in store.

"What are you kids doing?"

Eli came in to check on Trisha and Damien who had been quite quiet in the day.

"We're solving a puzzle, Daddy," Trisha replied.

"Err...What sort of puzzle?" Eli said as he looked at the circles drawn on a magazine clipping of the picture of the Mona Lisa.

"Can't you see?" Damien asked as he pointed at the circles. "Each circle we make shows a sort of date, and when we check it through this book, it matches."

Eli saw the title of the book Damien was holding written 'Disasters of the World' and was taken aback.

"You're saying that you can see dates on the Mona Lisa that tells you the dates when major disasters occur?"

"Yeah, isn't it obvious?" Damien replied, genuinely surprised that Eli couldn't see the things he and Trisha could see.

"There's a code in Mona Lisa's eyes saying that the answer will reveal all if we manage to find all the dates hidden in her picture," Trisha said excitedly. "Isn't it cool?"

Eli didn't know what to think.

A/N:
In Nakh-Kal's scene, the boys have stumbled upon a secret cave in which there was a clan, during their time, through paranoia, decided to hide out in the cave with all their riches for fear of being robbed. They were so convinced that the whole world was out to get them that they didn't see any reason of procreating lest their children suffer the cruelty of the world outside and even those who actually gave birth in the cave killed it as soon as it was born in their so-called act of mercy and soon, one by one, they died out.

The puzzle on the cave is like a key in which the people made it so that no one is able to invade them and take their riches away. Of course, quick and witty Kito and Raito were able to solve it and found the riches, but not before having to battle and exorcise the unrest that swore to protect their hoard even in death. They brought those riches home and used it to maintain their clan.

Thili-Fai scene was sorta inspired by the movie 'Da Vinci Code' by Tom Hanks and the upcoming movie 'The Knowing' by Nicholas Cage. I have always been fascinated with the conspiracy theories of the Da Vinci Code and also about the Last Supper and Mona Lisa drawn by Leonardo Da Vinci. Especially the part where they question the existence of Jesus' supposed wife Mary Magdalene and his possible son. It's one of the mysteries of life I'm interested in cracking.
