Howdy everyone, one and all! Thank you for stumbling upon this blog.The Beasties is one of my many drawings I did in high school about me and my juniors. We were really best friends back then and always hang out together. There's no doubt about seeing us around in the school, though my friend and I are a year older than them.
Originally it was drawn from the inspiration of a bunch of doodles done by Shnibsnuff of how we imagine ourselves to be if we were in kenomimi form, and from there, a masterpiece was born. So far, only 3 volumes were complete before graduation and separation and real life began to overtake our lives.
We even have established pet names, from clockwise Kit (fox), Heendra (butterfly), Fay (cat), Eddie (ladybug), Lan (eagle), Jen (albino squirrel) and me, Jackie (bat).
As our story progressed, a few others were brought in, including my best pal Mel Celestial or her character name Maeye (dove). And together, the three of us, with a little extra help from the gang via brainstorming and giving plot lines and ideas, character designs and draft scenes, we made the best 3 out of 5 volumes together.

Previously, this was hosted in another blog on a different account, but since that blog has been inactive, I decided to import them all into here since it's also part of my artwork and delete the blog it was originally hosting.
The following imported posts are basically a guideline to the Beasties and their great world of kenomimi kingdom. A bit of the background of the characters, where they came from, their history, the works, courtesy of the three of us.
