100 List Challenge: Food

The Crying Traveler
The boys groaned as they came into Nakh's house, looking like they've been forced to run the marathon for weeks at end.

"Damn it, damn it, damn it," Kito and Raito cursed simultaneously. "We didn't bloody catch anything."

"It's not our day, I suppose," Elly sighed.

"I guess since we didn't catch anything, it's cabbage soup and leftover bread for dinner tonight," Kiba stretched his tired bones, with Melly nodding in agreement.

"Ah, hey, boys. You're back," Kal greeted them as they entered. "Any luck?"

All the boys shook their heads sadly.

"No worries. Better luck next time. Go take a bath. Dinner's ready."

The boys then separated, Kiba and Melly at one bathroom and Elly and the twins in another. After bath, they went into the dining room, only to find that there was a huge magnificent spread before them. It was a feast fit for a king, and the boys were exclaiming loudly and wildly at it.

"I see you're impressed with dinner," Kita said as he came out with Kalana in all smiles.

"B...But what's the occasion?" Melly asked.

"Nothing in particular. Just a little something to show us how we appreciate your effort in bringing food on the table. Dig in. It's all yours. We've already ate."

They didn't need to be told twice.

Love of the Damned
Thilius waited as his instant cup noodle was done. Checking through the cover, his noodles were ready to eat. He grabbed a pair of chopsticks and made his way out to the living room.

"Enjoying your dinner, Fai?"

Fai nodded happily as he munched at his food. Because the amount of food he had, including a Chinese seafood steamboat, Chinese takeout, Japanese takeout and soft drinks, it couldn't fit the table. Thilius had to watch where he was going as he walked carefully around Fai.

It was a toll on his stomach and his wallet seeing Fai eating like this without sharing a bite, but as long as his angel was happy, he's alright.
