100 List Challenge: Breaking the Rules

The Crying Traveler
They knew their love is forbidden.

They know, in the eyes of their people, their love is wrong.

They lmw their love, to them, was condemned and punishable by the most serious penalty ever.

But they didn't care.

As long as they had each other, their rules can just go to hell.

Love of the Damned
"You're not supposed to do that, Thili."

Thili turned to his angel nonchalantly and lighted a cigarette.

"Do what, love?"

Fai pouted and pointed at the No Smoking sign on the hospital wall.

"They're all gonna die one way or another anyhow. Why do you always care so much?"

"It's you who care less, breaking the rules all the time. You'd get us into trouble sooner or later."

"Been there, done that."

Faira could only sigh.

A/N:

Nakh and Kal's relationship, according to their culture, is taboo. An unwritten, unreasonable taboo that simply cannot be explained why it even exist, but continued to be practiced blindly throughout the generations. In my opinion, I think it's just racism on their part, and these star-crossed lovers knew that.

In Thili-Fai scene, they're at the hospital waiting while Gabrielle had to have her appendix removed. She just collapsed in the middle of the stage during a photoshoot when her appendix ruptured and was quickly rushed to the hospital. It was a close call, but everything was fine in the end. Thili was just being his usual rebel, bad-ass self
